Here, you’ll find tools, research, and resources that empower you to understand and apply the latest advancements in PRT to improve lives.
What is Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT)?
Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) is an evidence-based, mind-body treatment approach that aims to change the way the brain interprets and processes pain signals. Chronic pain is often a result of the brain misinterpreting safe signals from the body as if they were dangerous. Even though the body has healed, the brain is still mistakenly firing its alarm system. PRT works by retraining the brain to recognize these signals as safe, breaking the cycle of pain.
PRT is not just about managing pain—it's about addressing the root cause. Through a combination of therapeutic techniques including mindfulness, exposure, safety reappraisal, and anxiety regulation, PRT has helped countless individuals recover from chronic pain and regain control of their lives.
Meet Our Founders
Our founders, Daniella Deutsch and Paulina Soble, have dedicated their careers to understanding the complexities of chronic pain. Their approach blends cutting-edge research with compassionate care, ensuring patients receive the best guidance on their healing journeys.
Daniella and Paulina have developed various training programs for professionals to better understand how pain develops and why it persists, teaching and certifying cross-disciplinary practitioners in this life-changing treatment model. They aim to build a comprehensive network of certified providers to treat the millions who suffer from chronic pain. The team has presented on the topic of pain treatment at conferences internationally and are currently involved in clinical trials and ongoing pain research.
